SWING
/ BIG BANDS
|
|
|
This
style of music covers a historic period of the 1930's-1950's. The Swing
and the Big Band eras merged and overlapped each other with distinctions
to made between East and West coast styles. The instrumental character is
wonderful for a background wash of sound as well as for slow and fast dancing.
Often including both a male and female singer, this band features horns,
saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and a rhythm section. |
